Education in Faith at St Carlo Borromeo Primary school is focused on immersing students in a lifelong process of reflection, where we grow in God’s own image, develop self-identity, dignity and live out the Gospel values. St Carlo Borromeo School derives its strength from truth and honesty with God and one another. As we strive to model the love of Jesus, our teaching and learning strongly reflect the needs and interests of individuals and the members of our parish community.

Religious Education is an area of our curriculum where students are introduced to and learn the Catholic tradition. We at St Carlo Borromeo aim to live the Gospel values in all aspects of our learning and teaching, so that our students know Christianity is a way of life based on love, compassion and social justice.

We strive to make these achievements through daily programmed lessons as well as Sacramental programs that work towards students receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation in Year 3, Eucharist in Year 4 and Confirmation in Year 6. Religious Education integrates with all areas of the curriculum and children are able to respond in many different ways including song, prayer, liturgy, drama and art.
