Education in Faith at St Carlo Borromeo Primary school is centered on true, personal encounters with Jesus, where students grow intellectually, spiritually, morally and emotionally. Through meaningful engagement with the Gospel and the teachings of the Church our students grow in God’s image as Christian witnesses within our community.
We are committed to cultivating faith filled deep learning that ensures we celebrate Christian faith that nurtures missionary discipleship. Our lessons, prayers and actions are grounded in Gospel values that are engaging, collaborative, purposeful and reflective of real life context. We empower our students to become thoughtful, compassionate, positive and faith filled agents of change.
At St Carlo Borromeo Primary School the Sacramental program is at the heart of our Catholic Identity. We support students and their families in growing closer to God through active participation in the sacramental life of our church, supported by our parish, Good Shepherd Church. We celebrate our students' sacraments in Year 3 through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, in Year 4 through the Sacrament of Eucharist and in Year 6 through the Sacrament of Confirmation. Our sacraments are a true celebration of our faith and reflect the joy and transformation that comes through God's love.
